God’s Masterpiece: From Servants to Sons
The post reveals the transformative truth of our identity in God’s Kingdom: we are not mere servants but sons and daughters, created in His image to exercise authority and dominion on Earth. Religion often blinds us to this truth, conditioning us to live in powerlessness, fear, and self-doubt. However, when we embrace our God-given identity as royal representatives of heaven, we break free from the limitations of addiction, sickness, and oppression. The enemy’s greatest weapon is our ignorance, but once we understand that we carry God’s Spirit and authority, his power over us is destroyed. This awakening calls us to step out of servanthood, reject religious rituals that stifle us, and live as rulers, ambassadors, and heirs to God’s Kingdom, fulfilling His purpose and expanding His influence on Earth.

God’s Masterpiece: From Servants to Sons
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” – Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)
What I’m about to share with you today is one of the most powerful tools the enemy has deliberately hidden from many believers and nonbelievers alike—and he’s been successful at doing so. I want to speak to you directly, especially if you consider yourself a citizen of God’s Kingdom, yet you’re still struggling. Struggling with addiction, sickness, financial hardship, fear, depression, anxiety, or simply feeling like life isn’t going the way it should and it’s not worth living. Feeling like God is evil and responsible for every bad thing that’s happening in the world.
You see, I’ve discovered a key within the Kingdom of God that is so powerful, the enemy fears your knowledge of it. That’s why he’s kept so many trapped in the limitations of religion for so long. Religion, though well-meaning, often confines and weakens us, conditioning us to feel powerless. It convinces us that we cannot exercise the divine authority God has given us. It makes us feel sorry for ourselves. It prepares us for heaven instead of equipping us for earthly dominance. But what I want to share with you today has the potential to radically transform your life to the point where even you will marvel at the power that dwells within you.
What is this key?
For years, I struggled—struggled with pornography, masturbation, lust, fear, worry, etc. I thought the problem was that I wasn’t good enough or that I wasn’t pleasing God with my actions. I was convinced that something was fundamentally wrong with me. And yes, something was wrong, but it wasn’t what I thought. My problem was ignorance.
I didn’t understand the key to breaking free from addiction, limitations, oppression, depression, or anything abnormal to the human experience. Because I had been so conditioned by the Christian religion, I thought my complete deliverance and freedom from sin would only happen when I arrived in heaven. I believed that I was just a mere human and, being such, was limited in some capacity. I believed that I didn’t have the power to change my circumstances—that this was just my lot in life. I thought that religious rituals were all it took to please God. Constantly serving Him in fear (afraid of Him), I became a Christian who was complaining about Christianity, and I found that this was the case for most who claimed to be Christians.
During this time, I discovered two things: one that I will address in this post, and the other I’ll reserve for another time.
God did not find Christianity, and Christ was not the founder of Christianity. In fact, early followers of Christ were not called Christians but followers of “The Way” (Acts 24:14, Acts 9:1-2, Acts 22:4).
There is more to us as human beings than we’ve learned from those who came before us.
This discovery led me to the key I am sharing with you today:
The discovery of your true identity.
I’m not talking about what society says you are. I’m not talking about your gender, job title, status, or how others define you. I’m talking about your true identity—your God-given identity. When you understand and embrace this truth, you will be set free.
What is this identity?
To answer this question, we must go back to the beginning. For man to understand his identity, he must first return to his Creator—to the Manufacturer. You see, understanding the original intent and purpose of our creation is critical. In this understanding lies the nature of who we are and why we are. Religion, unfortunately, has clouded this understanding. It’s focused on rules and rituals while missing the original intent for humanity: dominion, purpose, and relationship with God.
Genesis 1:26-28 says:
"Then God said, 'Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.' Then God blessed them, and God said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.' So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them."
This is a foundational truth: God created us in His image and likeness for one purpose—to rule and have dominion over the earth and to expand Kingdom influence on Earth. God is a King, and as with any king, His desire is to expand His Kingdom. Earth was meant to be a colony of heaven—a reflection of heaven’s government and glory.
Image and Likeness
The word "image" (Tselem in Hebrew) means: A representative figure. The concept is that an image is a replica of the original object or subject—God, in this case. This means that man was created as a replica of God in nature. They carry the stamp or brand of God. They carry God wherever they are.
They were meant to be as God on earth. God even said to Moses:
"See, I have made you as God to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet." – Exodus 7:1 (NKJV)
Think about the Apple logo. Wherever you see that logo, you know it represents that brand. This is what the concept of man being created in the image and likeness of God means. You’re a king on earth because your Father is a King.
For God’s Kingdom to expand on Earth, He placed His Spirit within man, granting us the authority to represent Him:
"…let them have dominion over…"
This is the truth the enemy does not want you to understand: You are the legal authority on Earth. No other entity—spiritual or otherwise—outside of God has the right to govern the affairs of the Earth except a human being carrying God’s Spirit.
This is why Satan fears your knowledge of this truth. He knows that while he may have power, he does not have authority. And a person who discovers their Authority Identity becomes a threat to him.
Power vs. Authority
“And He said to them, 'I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.’” – Luke 10:18-20
What’s the difference? Power is the ability to do something. Authority is the legal right to exercise that power.
Imagine a robber with a gun. He has the power to harm you with the gun, but he does not have the authority to use it. On the other hand, a police officer has both power and authority, making it lawful for him to use the gun he carries.
Satan has power, but he lacks authority. The only way he can operate in your life is if you give him your authority. When you don’t know your true identity, you unconsciously relinquish your authority to him.
Discovering Your Identity
Your true identity is this: You are a child of the King. You are a legal representative of heaven on Earth. You were created to have dominion, to govern, and to bring God’s Kingdom influence to Earth.
What makes you legal is that you’re the only spiritual entity with a body on Earth. Only a spirit within a body is allowed to rule the Earth according to Genesis 1:26. This, my friend, is beyond religion and religious rituals.
This is why demons are constantly looking for bodies, and they cry and cause trouble when they’re cast out of one. In fact, they even try to come back and bring others after being cast out:
"When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.” – Matthew 12:43-45
Do you see how important you are as a human being?
Yet, many believers live as though they’re powerless. Why? Because religion has conditioned them to see themselves as mere sinners “saved by grace” instead of recognizing their rightful position as kings and priests. When you see yourself as “just a man,” the enemy can continue to dominate you:
"And have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.” – Revelation 5:10 (NKJV)
The enemy’s greatest fear is that you will wake up one day and realize who you truly are. That’s why he uses every tool at his disposal—distractions, temptations, entertainment, and even religion—to keep you ignorant of your true identity. The day you discover the truth, you become a constant reminder to him of his defeat. You become a threat to his kingdom, and he can no longer manipulate you.
The Authority of Sons
God is calling us to step out of the mindset of servants and into the reality of sonship. Servants have limited rights, but sons have full access to their Father’s power and authority.
In Luke 4, Satan tempted Jesus, offering Him all the kingdoms of the world if He would only bow and worship him. This reveals something profound: Satan had no authority to give those kingdoms unless someone willingly surrendered it to him. This is exactly what Adam did, and it’s what many of us do when we submit to sin, fear, and doubt.
The enemy thrives on ignorance. He gains access to our lives through what we do not know. But the moment we become aware of our authority as sons and daughters of God, his power over us is broken.
You are a son, but most of us have chosen to live and settle as servants—like the prodigal son. We’ve wasted our lives serving the devil, and now that we’ve come to this realization, instead of also realizing that we’re sons, we’ve decided to settle as servants of religious rituals and doctrines. We think that religion is synonymous with the Bible. It’s not!
We’ve placed mental limitations on ourselves when God the Father wants to restore us to sonship. Wake up! It’s time to put on the ring and robe, rejoice, and take your place as a king and royal priest on Earth.
"And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet.’” – Luke 15:21-22
Living as Kings
If you want to break free from addiction, sickness, poverty, or any other form of oppression, you must embrace your identity as a king. You were created to dominate circumstances, not to be dominated by them.
"All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything.” – 1 Corinthians 6:12
How can a ruler be enslaved by addiction? How can a king live in poverty? How can a child of God allow sickness to control their life? How can a king be controlled by an industry (porn)? It happens because we fail to understand who we are.
You are royalty. Ambassadors of a country do not live in a manner that compromises their authority or the reputation of their home country. In the same way, you represent the Kingdom of God on Earth. You carry His Spirit, His authority, and His power. When you embrace this truth, your life will never be the same.
There’s a way that you’re supposed to live: as a ruler over the Earth, a ruler over your body.
Partnering with the Supernatural
Even witches and sorcerers understand the importance of partnership with the supernatural. They align themselves with the devil to amplify their power. The devil needs their body and their authority to be able to work through them. They must willingly submit to him.
Likewise, as believers, we must align ourselves with God to exercise the authority He has given us. All power belongs to God, and all authority comes from Him. We need Him to exercise His authority.
Look at what Christ told Pilate, who was operating under the influence of the kingdom of darkness:
"Jesus answered, 'You would have no authority over Me unless it had been given you from above; for this reason, he who delivered Me to you has the greater sin.'” – John 19:11 (NASB1995)
God has restored your authority through Christ. But in order to live in it, you must step out of the mindset of religion and servanthood and into the reality of your sonship. Sons operate in authority. Sons represent their Father. Sons rule with power and dominion. Take your place as a son and spread the Kingdom of God.
"And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, 'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.'” – Matthew 28:18-19
"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” – Matthew 24:14
Conclusion
The enemy’s greatest fear is that you will discover who you truly are. When you do, he can no longer manipulate, control, or hinder your life. You are not a servant. You are not a victim. You are a child of the King, created to rule and have dominion on Earth.
So, rise up. Discover your true identity. Step into your authority. And begin to live as the king you were created to be.
