Walk with the Wise: Embracing the Eagle Mentality
King Solomon once said:
"He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed."
I say—God will introduce you to your kind. In fact, He wants you to walk with those who share your purpose and mindset. But before you can truly connect with them, He must first introduce you to their way of thinking.
If you're an eagle, you must adopt an eagle’s mentality before you can soar with other eagles. Why? Because if you meet an eagle while still thinking like a pigeon, you might mistake them for a threat rather than a guide. Eagles don’t fly like pigeons. They don’t think like pigeons. Their vision is sharper, their altitude higher, and their mindset entirely different.
Eagles thrive in storms, using the wind to lift them higher, while pigeons seek shelter in fear. Eagles soar alone or with their kind, while pigeons flock together, seeking comfort in the crowd. Eagles feast on fresh prey, while pigeons scavenge for crumbs. The difference is not just in where they fly but in how they see the world.
Change your atmosphere.
Your environment shapes your mindset, and your mindset determines your altitude. If you want to soar like an eagle, you cannot remain in a space designed for pigeons. The conversations you entertain, the company you keep, and the challenges you embrace all influence your growth.
Eagles don’t waste time on distractions. They don’t gather where scraps are thrown; they seek fresh opportunities. They don’t settle in familiar places; they rise to new heights. If your atmosphere is filled with fear, mediocrity, and small thinking, it’s time to break free. Elevate your circle, shift your perspective, and position yourself where visionaries thrive.
The wind beneath an eagle’s wings is not comfort—it’s challenge. Storms don’t bring them down; they lift them higher. Likewise, if you want to reach your full potential, step out of the ordinary, embrace discomfort, and surround yourself with those who push you toward greatness.
Change your atmosphere. Rise. Welcome to the Eagle’s Nest.
