Are You Still The Salt of The Earth?
Salt that regains its purity regains its power. If you hold the line, stand firm in truth, walk in the Spirit, and refuse to bow to the world’s expectations and stop learning from the world, your life becomes the very influence Yah intended from the beginning. Nothing changes until you return to what is written. Everything changes when you do.

Are You Still The Salt of The Earth?
"You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men." - Matthew 5:13;
As a believer, you must get rid of the notion of being accepted by this world.
“If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” - John 15:19).
I've come to realize that the need to be nice and accepted by this society, the need to be relevant to our society, has led the average believer to want to be wise in the eyes of man but fools in the eyes of Yah. You are supposed to be the salt of the earth; when did you lose your savor? The salt is an influencing entity. It doesn't ask the food permission to change its taste and add flavor; it doesn't need to change its saltiness in order to make the food comfortable and not change the food. The salt, when applied, doesn't change its saltiness to feel sorry about the condition of the item it's been applied to. How did you end up being savorless?
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness” - I Corinthians 3:19 (NKJV)
Because of our niceness and ignorance, we've become a tool of mockery and are stepped upon and perceived as people without importance. This must stop. You have to understand that the food has nothing to offer the salt. In like manner, the world has nothing to offer you. This is why Yah in the Scriptures asks us: “What shall it profit you to gain the world but lose your soul” (Mark 8:36)?
'Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.' - I John 2:15-17
You see, niceness is not a fruit of the Spirit; kindness is (Galatians 5:22). One allows the sinner to remain in his or her sin; the other shows them and helps them get out of it, but it doesn't change or compromise biblical standards to make the sinner feel comfortable. Sin must never feel comfortable around you.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. - Ephesians 5:11
Somehow, we feel we have to apologize for keeping our spiritual standards. Somehow, the wolves in sheep’s clothing have seen it wise to compromise spiritual standards to reel in the fish, they say. See, if you have to use worldly standards as bait to reel in men, you're not a fisher of men; you've turned into a politician. The kingdom was never meant to be influenced by the world.
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. - Matthew 7:15
The danger here is that we've built our lives on the wisdom of men instead of the wisdom of Yah. When did you lose your saltiness? Do you have the spine to remain true to what you believe and what the Scriptures say, even when the tares in Christianity stand against you (Matthew 13:24–30)?
'Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.' - Proverbs 3:5-8
We've so far deviated from the actual Scriptures and taken the doctrines and traditions of men (Clement of Rome, Ignatius of Antioch, Polycarp of Smyrna, Papias of Hierapolis, Justin Martyr, Irenaeus of Lyons, Clement of Alexandria, Origen of Alexandria, Tertullian, Hippolytus of Rome, Cyprian of Carthage, Eusebius of Caesarea), as the word of Yah. Somehow, we feel we can change the Scriptures and go scot-free. YOU DON'T NEED TO COMPROMISE TO FIT IN (Romans 12:2).
'He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men —the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.” He said to them, “ All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition. ' - Mark 7:6-9
It's because of this lack of authenticity and spine that has made you today a celebrator of pagan holidays like Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, etc. You've neglected the celebrated feasts of the Scriptures because you want to fit in, because you don't have the spine to remain true despite the opposition. Your pride, need to fit in and arrogance will lead you right into the hand of the beast
'So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” - Revelation 13:4
Remember, the enemy didn't sow his tares outside the field; they were sown right into the same field as the wheat (Matthew 13:25).
'Thus says the Lord : “Do not learn the way of the Gentiles; Do not be dismayed at the signs of heaven, For the Gentiles are dismayed at them.' - Jeremiah 10:2
How did you lose your saltiness? When did you lose your spine? This is why we've become powerless believers today, weak and seen as useless to this world ( “having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” - 2 Timothy 3:5). Until we decide to stop following the world's wisdom and purely and solely rely on the wisdom of Yah, we will not change the world. You don't need a celebrity to endorse your ministry. That’s not the wisdom of Yah. That’s the wisdom of man.
‘Thus says the Lord : “Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord.’ - Jeremiah 17:5
'But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. ' - James 3:17
GET BACK YOUR SALTINESS. RETURN TO YOUR FIRST LOVE (Revelation 2:4–5). DECIDE TODAY THAT YOU WILL NO LONGER RELY ON THE WISDOM OF THIS WORLD (1 Corinthians 2:5).
THEN WATCH WHAT HAPPENS (Ephesians 3:20).
Shalom!
